Rollover shuts down US-54 south at Pershing early Wednesday
A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he drove his truck off of the roadway onto the center median and rolled the truck several times.
The driver was transported to University Medical Center with a severe head injury.
According to police, the man was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 southbound on US 54 near Pershing at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, March 4.
Police say the truck drove onto the median, losing control, and rolled over causing the male driver to be ejected from the truck.
Police’s Special Traffic Investigators say at this point in the investigation that it appears speed and driver inattention may be factors in the accident.
