Road construction begins on Viscount, expected to last three weeks
Road construction is now underway on Viscount, near Hawkins in East El Paso.
The construction will include lane closures at the following intersections for the next three weeks:
Viscount Blvd. at Montwood Dr.
Saul Kleinfeld Dr. at Pebble Hills Blvd. Saul Kleinfeld Dr. at Montwood Dr.
Closures are necessary to allow crews to expand the turning lanes.
The intersection will remain open.
The intersections were chosen based on an analysis of traffic flow and accident rates.
The construction is part of a citywide project to improve traffic flow at busy intersections around El Paso.
