Swat Team Resolves Standoff in South-Central Peacefully
A rude awakening on Mother’s Day for residents in a South-Central neighborhood.
The Swat team showed up after a man with a gun refused to speak with police officers.
Police tell ABC-7 officers went to a home on the 3900 block of Laredo to investigate reports of a distraught man with a gun.
Swat team officers were able to speak with the man, who eventually came out of the house.
Police said the man is being evaluated at a hospital and he will not be identified.
