18 wheeler catches fire near Asarco
El Paso,Texas- El Paso firefighters were busy Monday afternoon after an 18 wheeler caught on fire near the entrance to Asarco on Paisano .
The gravel hauler’s engine caught fire as it was heading west on Paisano. The driver of the trailer pulled over and put the engine out, so the fire didn’t spread to the whole trailer.
Traffic on Paisano was diverted for about 30 minutes in both directions until firefighters were able to get to the trailer and make sure the fire was out. No one was injured.
