New Mexico Changes Football Playoff Rules

the new mexico activities association has implemented some rule changes for the upcoming high school football season… and it makes sense because the original rules were… iffy… so here’s what we’re looking at: under the old rules… past histories between two schools determine home field advantage in a playoff game… that’s out the window … now it’ll only be that way in the semi finals and finals… also, no more coin flips to determine the home team in playoff games between teams with no history against each other… the higher seed gets it… and state championships games will be played at 1 or 2pm on saturday unless both coaches agree to play friday… as long as we’re talking football…
