that was justin maese last night… and yes … it was different … i’m danny mata with sports… the ysleta pitcher is a toronto blue jay… the blue jays drafted maese in the third round with the 91st overall pick… he celebrated at his home with his family and teammates… and the moment he was drafted made the whole thing worth it… “it was something else. their reaction explained it all. you just hear yelling from the other room and they were jumping up and down. it was exciting.” “i just wa to wish him the best out there in life. it’s going to be a long road but he can make it short if he really works hard at it.” maese says he is leaning toward accepting a contract with the blue jays to play in their farm system. he’ll meet with the team tonight and fly out to tampa bay tomorrow to hammer out some details on the contract… by the way, maese is on the front page of the blue jays website which is pretty cool…
