Franklin Pitcher Preparing for Baseball in Alaska

got pitchers all over the place… that right there is former franklin pitcher ryan hingst… he got a scholarship to go to arizona state and he had a good freshman year… he was back in town to see his family… tomorrow, to keep his arm strong for next year, he starts playing baseball in the alaskan league… “this summer is absolutely huge you get to play against really good competition, they’re all collegiate players. you really get to get that consistency down. that was kind of our team’s biggest issue and my biggest issue, pitch really well one game and struggle the next. so getting that extra playing time helps me get consistent with my stuff.” he says he likes arizona state but this alaskan league thing will be fun… on june 21st, they’ll play the summer solstice game … the sun doesn’t set all day… so they’ll play a day game at midnight… eastwood swimming coach steve flato is enjoying his
