Which woman should grace the $10 bill?

Watch out Alexander Hamilton: U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said a woman will be featured on a redesigned $10 bill. This marks the 100th anniversary of the Constitution’s 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. Very few women have been featured on American currency– some of you may be saying it’s about time! There is speculation over which American woman will grace the $10 bill, which features Alexander Hamilton since 1929.

Hamilton, clawed his way to the top of the American revolutionary leadership through the strength of his writing and his political savvy. He’s known as the first treasury secretary, as well as being killed in a duel with Vice President Aaron Burr. Among the contenders are Susan B. Anthony, Rosa Parks and Harriet Tubman, Some said placing a woman’s face on the $10 bill will celebrate a female leader.
While others don’t feel a woman deserves to grace the front of a $10 bill.

Morgan Stene said “I don’t really like the woman public figures , honestly I can’t really think of a woman that deserves to be on the bill”.
This will take some time, since the new bill won’t be unveiled until 2020. This will give the treasury time to redesign it to include anti-counterfeiting features.
