FIT FOR ’15 06.19.15: Turducken burger recipe

Turducken Burger

1 lb. each turkey, duck, chicken breast
2 egg whites
1/2 lb. kidney beans (cooked)
Salt and pepper to taste

In a food processor, mix the meat, egg whites, kidney beans, salt and pepper. Shape into 5 ounce patties. Grill until the patty reaches 165 degrees. Serve on a whole wheat bun with mixed greens, Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette and sauteed vegetables.

Chipotle Lime Vinaigrette

Whisk together 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup lime juice, 1 tsp. minced garlic, 1 Tbsp chipotle chile, 1/4 cup roughly chopped cilantro, and salt and pepper (to taste) and refrigerate until ready to use.
