El Paso Police: Suspects out of custody after deadly shooting in Far East El Paso
Two men taken into custody are free tonight.
El Paso Police said a father and son, taken into custody after a deadly shooting Friday night, have not been charged.
The shooting happened around 8:40.
Police responded to a call of shots fired at the intersection of Pueblo Nuevo Circle and Montwood Drive in the Far East.
According to police, they arrived on the scene to find a man in his 20s with a gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He died at Del Sol Medical Center. The victim has not been identified.
Police are still referring to the father and son as “suspects,” and @EPPOLICEtweeted: “2000 Pueblo Nuevo Homicide case on-going. Suspects have been released from custody pending further investigation.”
