of the largest music festivals in the southwest is back again. sun city music fest begins tomorrow night. more than 20- thousand people are expected everyday. d-j’s include armin van buuren, hardwell, nervo and even some local d- j’s. this year sun city music fest organizers are teaming up with the salvation army. everyone who plans to go this weekend– take a canned food item and you’ll be allowed to enter the festival through a special entry way. the franciscan seminary is holding its annual fundraiser– the st. anthony’s bazaar. it also runs saturday through monday from noon to eleven. it’s free admission but there are plenty of rides, games and food that you can enjoy. the annual harvest wine festival is taking over the southern new mexico state fairgrounds. wineries from around the land of enchantment gather in one place so you can responsibly enjoy dozens of wines. a $20 dollar ticket gets you a souvenir glass and entrance to the festival. you’ll find all sorts of vendors, live music and grape stomping contests. the festival is saturday through monday from noon to six. remember the dona ana county sheriff’s will have dwi checkpoints so make sure you designate a driver this weekend. meteorologist at alfresco friday. performing tonight is the band b-series. you’ll hear them play some reggae, ska and jazz it begins at 6pm and it’s free. movies in the canyon at mckelligon canyon is showing “the lego movie tonight at 8:30. admission is free. and saturday– the movie “frozen” wil fbe shown at 8-30. a live look at your lunchtime commute. our tex dot traffic cameras show .. begin their season on the road tomorrow against arkansas in fayetteville arkansas. gametime is 1-30, you can watch it on espn-u. and the nmsu aggies are also away for the first game of the season tomorrow. they take on florida in gainesville at 5-30. you can watch it on the sec network. disney live is at the abraham chavez theatre today and tomorrow. with three showtimes for saturday beginning at one in the afternoon. appearances from disney princesses include snow white and cinderella.
