30-year-old dies in rollover crash in Dona Ana County
A Las Cruces man was killed in a rollover crash on Labor Day.
Dona Ana County Sheriff’s investigators were called to the scene of Southwind between Westwind and Myles just after 8 a.m. after horseback riders saw a vehicle overturned in a canal.
The man killed has been identified as 30-year-old Salvador Garcia Jr.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. An autopsy is pending, and it is unknown if alcohol was a factor.
