16th Annual McDonalds Hispanos Triunfadores

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month McDonalds is celebrating by hosting the 16th Annual McDonalds Hispanos Triunfadores. It’s an event that celebrates the achievements of hispanic leaders in El Paso and Las Cruces. Today they honored five outstanding individuals for their contributions to the community. They’re people who’ve worked with and helped people along their careers.
Among those awarded was Angel Gomez. He’s the co-founder of Operation Hope. The organization helps families pay for funeral arrangements, flights out of town, and school supplies for underpriveleged kids.
