El Paso Police shoot, kill pitbull in Northeast El Paso

El Paso Police confirmed to ABC-7 that an officer shot a dog on Rushing and Cockrell.

The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known.

The owner of Chuco, a 2-year-old pitbull, told ABC-7 he hasn’t been told what happened and that Chuco was a great dog.

He said Chuco was shot six times.

Chuco’s owner added that he does not live at the home and does not know why police were called to his friend’s house.
