eyes in the sky it’s a small change with a lot of meaning behind it. abc-7’s andrew j. polk is live with the details and a different perspective. andrew rick and estela, you’ve probably seen them – the helicopters overflying the border. but the aircraft of the rebranded air and marine operations do a lot more than that. and it can come with some pretty impressive views. air and marine operations flyers get to see things like this daily… as they continue to support the mission of monitoring the border… but also assist with other agency investigations and the c-b-p’s epanding role … taking on the drug trade, human trafficking, armed intervention… and protecting against terrorism. “the default mission is yes, we go out and we work in conjunction with border protection to provide border security at the border. we also work in conjunction with homeland security investigations to actually provide information for – to help them further their investigation, any investigative cases that they’re working.” and with all the air and marine operations takes on in their modern mission … the cbp felt the name should reflect it’s true scope. rick and estela? san jacinto plaza has been
