Crashes cause morning headache in East El Paso
Three people were taken to the hospital early Thursday morning after a crash in East El Paso. It happened roughly around 5:30 in the morning at the intersection of George Dieter and Edgemere. The street was reopened by 7:30 a.m.
Meanwhile, El Paso Electric says power was knocked out to 4400 customers in East El Paso early Thursday morning after a car crash near the intersection of George Dieter and Breckenridge. The incident happened around 5:15 a.m. and power was restored by 6:30
In a third incident, fire crews responded to a car fire at the intersection of Zaragoza and Henry Brennan around 8 a.m. Two vehicles were involved, one which rolled over and caught fire. That caused the right-hand southbound lane of Zaragoza to be shut down. Fire crews tell ABC-7 there were no serious injuries, and nobody was taken to the hospital.
