New Mexico St. football losing two key offensive players

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The New Mexico State football program won’t have the services of wide receiver Teldrick Morgan or quarterback Andrew Allen next season.

Coach Doug Martin has confirmed that the two players are leaving the program.

Both players were facing plenty of competition for their respective spots.

Morgan is still on pace to graduate in May. He has led the Aggies in catches each of the past two years and was selected to the Sun Belt all-conference second-team two seasons ago.

Andrew Allen, meanwhile, totaled over 1,500 passing yards and 16 touchdowns to go along with eight picks in eight games last season.

Allen drew attention nationally after recording four touchdowns in a victory at Lafayette last year the same day he attended a memorial for his father, who was murdered.
