Former city planner on plaza design

yesterday we got our first look at the newly redesigned park in downtown el paso. the alligator sculpture is back in place, this time shielded from the sun’s rays by a state-of-the art canopy. there are chess tables … water fountains for dogs … a splash pad for kids … even horseshoe court! the plaza’s dedication ceremony is saturday at 9:30 a.m. the celebration — including games, music and outdoor activities – starts at 10 in the morning and will last through 7 p.m. and joing us now is nestor valencia, who was a on the design committee. he is also a city planner nestor valencia time now for a preview of abc-7 at 5 with rick cabrera. rick? hi ashlie, as you mentioned … the
