NMDOT asks for input in border development study

The New Mexico Department of Transportation held a public meeting Tuesday to discuss a strategic plan for the Santa Teresa border region. The goal of the meeting was to help NMDOT better understand transportation needs in the region and how to effectively prioritize those needs.

Officials say information gathered will be incorporated into the larger Santa Teresa Border Area Transportation Needs Assessment and Strategic Plan (STBAT).

This STBAT Plan will be a guiding document designed to contribute to effective decision-making strategies for transportation infrastructure in the Santa Teresa Border Area.
