Hearing for Chico’s, CVS pharmacy rezoning request postponed
Thursday’s hearing for a proposal by CVS pharmacy to rezone the Chico’s Tacos property at Montana and Chelsea has been postponed two weeks.
The pharmacy wants to build its sixth El Paso location at the site.
The City Plan Commission was scheduled to discuss CVS’s proposal Thursday.
In 2013, there was a proposal to build a Neighborhood Walmart on that site, but neighbors protested the plan and the retailer backed out.
ABC-7 has also learned the City Pension Board plans to build an office on a portion of a vacant lot near the Chico’s.
ABC-7 has reached out to Chico’s Tacos repeatedly. The owners have not returned our calls.
