Hackers take over TX-DOT signs, call Trump “a lizard”

Hackers momentarily took control of traffic signs operated by the Texas Department of Transportation.

One of the signs was programmed to read: “Donald Trump is a shape shifting lizard.”

Other signs had messages like “Bernie for President” and “Work is canceled. Go back home.”

“People think it’s funny. It’s not really a laughing matter. We’re talking about the serious issue that could cause very serious problems if traffic does not get the messages,” Ryan LaFontaine, with TX-DOT, said in an interview with KTVT.
