another deadly police-involved shooting is caught on camera overnight–after the woman in the car takes to social media right after it happens. / “”we’re tired of being murdere we’re tired of our blood dripping in the streets.” plus—a memorial turned to protests overnight as residents in louisiana demand action after that deadly police involved-shooting, we have new information this morning on the investigation. / and happening today– the director of the f-b-i will go before congress since making the recommendation not to prosecute clinton. a very good morning el paso, las cruces, and juarez. i’m stephanie valle. and i’m hillary floren. good morning, everyone. a slug of increased moisture and an upper-level disturbance will move into the borderland today. this will mean more clouds and increased chances for rain showers and thunderstorms area-wide this afternoon and tonight. moisture hangs over the region through friday but storm coverage should be more limited as high pressure builds back over the area. for the weekend ahead deep westerly flow moves back in to sweep the moisture east with dry air returning. hot and mostly dry conditions will persist from saturday onward through most of next week. new information this morning— the u.s. dept. of justice is now launching a civil rights investigation into the deadly police-involved shooting in louisiana. this is video recorded on a witness cell phone of the moments right after 37-year- old alton sterling was shot by an officer outside a convenience store. this all happened on tuesday. authorities are saying sterling had a gun. demonstrators gathered last night for a memorial that quickly turned into protests outside that convenience store in baton rouge. the shooting prompting protests and vigils across the country. this “black lives matter” protest in los angeles was held in the same area as the riots that took place back in 1992–after the rodney king incident. this group in california is encouraging peaceful protests of police shootings of african americans across the country. this comes as another african american man is shot and killed by police in minnesota. it all happened last night while his girlfriend and her daughter were in the car. this is video of the scene last night in minnesota. the man, 32-year-old philando castile, was being pulled over for a traffic stop. moments after the shooting, the victim’s girlfriend immediately took to social media, going live on facebook. this graphic video, courtesy of youtube, shows the woman sitting in a car with a man whose shirt appears to be soaked in blood. the woman says an officer shot her boyfriend after he told them he had a license to carry and tried to show them his hands. the officer has been placed on administrative leave. happening today … f-b-i director james comey will testify before the house oversight committee this after he announced that the f-b-i would not prosecute former secretary of state hillary clinton for her private email server use. some republican lawmakers have expressed outrage, saying clinton clearly violated the law. meanwhile….to the latest from the campaign trail this morning– it’s your voice your vote…. the presumptive republican nominee will also be meeting with republicans behind closed doors today. this comes just weeks before the g-o-p convention that a number of republicans say they are skipping, including some in congress. some even said they would not meet with trump today as well / a proposed texdot project that spurred opposition is now back on the table with different options. we’re talking about the plans to build new ramps and expand lanes around the spaghetti bowl and i-10. good morning el paso’s denise olivas is live by the spaghetti bowl with the details… denise?
