Police identify elderly man murdered in East El Paso
Police say the man found dead inside a home on the 11700 block of John Polley in East El Paso was murdered.
Monday, police identified the victim as 74-year-old Carlos Valles Galindo.
Officials said Sunday morning they received a call to check up on Valles at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
When officers entered the home, they found Valles dead and the victim’s PT Cruiser missing from the house. Police were not able to provide the car’s license plate number. They would only say the car has disabled plates and more of a “deep plum” color than maroon.
Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for the car and call police if you any information that may help investigators solve this case.
