NM Attorney General’s Office holding free course on Sunshine Laws

The Attorney General’s Office in New Mexico is hosting a free training session on Friday in Las Cruces to educate the pubic about Sunshine Laws. The session will help government agencies, municipalities, the public and the media to better understand the requirements of the state’s Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA) and its Open Meetings Act (OMA). The training sessions are held monthly around the state. The training will be at the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum- The Ventanas Room, 4100 Dripping Springs Road. It start at 9:30 a.m. And goes until 12:30 p.m.
