Crash with injuries on Highway 180

The Texas Department of Public Safety confirms a man was critically injured after a crash on Highway 180 Monday night. That’s the highway connecting El Paso to Carlsbad, NM.

The crash happened just before 10 pm at mile marker 66 in Hudspeth County. Texas State Troopers tell ABC-7 a car was traveling westbound when it rolled over. The driver injured was identified as 24-year-old man from Las Cruces. He was taken to Del Sol Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The highway is open to traffic in both directions.
