Any concerns? Reach out to LCPD this weekend at Conlee Elementary

The Las Cruces Police Department is using its Mobile Operations Command Center to reach out to the community this weekend.

The department will park the MOC at Conlee Elementary School for an officer meet and greet at 8:30 am Friday, June 2.

Police say the command center will remain there until Noon on Sunday, June 4.

Las Cruces residents are encouraged to stop by and discuss any concerns they may have. No appointment is necessary while the MOC is stationed at the school.

The MOC will be parked on the south side of the elementary school, which is located at 1701 Boston Drive. It will be manned 24 hours a day.

Officers will have an increased presence along Missouri Avenue and neighborhoods surrounding the school throughout the weekend.

In conjunction with LCPD, representatives from the Las Cruces Fire Department, Las Cruces Codes Enforcement and Animal Control, and LCPD’s Victims’ Assistance Unit will be available at the MOC as well.

LCPD is also hosting its Ident-A-Child program on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., where parents or caregivers can take their kids to receive a free photo identification card.
