EPISD to administer TAKS test for students who need to pass it to graduate

Former and current El Paso Independent School District students who have not yet passed the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, or TAKS test, will have another chance to take it.

El Paso Independent School District will administer four version of the TAKS for students who still need to pass it to complete graduation.

Testing will take place at the College, Career and Technology Academy on 2851 Grant Ave. during the following dates:

Monday, June 19: English Language Arts

Tuesday, June 20: Math

Wednesday, June 21: Science

Thursday, June 22: Social Studies

Students interested in taking the test should call an EPISD testing coordinator at 236-7700 to make arrangements.
