Tuesday is last day of early voting

Tuesday is the last day for early voting before this weekend’s runoff election.

There are four city council seats that need to be filled and the race for mayor.

This year’s mayoral runoff election has received 12,250 votes, El Paso County has 364,537 registered voters.

Candidate Dee Margo will go up against David Saucedo.

ABC-7 spoke with voters in the Lower Valley as they cast ballots at the Carolina Center.

When asked what is the top concern when choosing a candidate, many of them said they want to see improvements on city streets.

Another man said he worried there is not enough law enforcement presence.

“I’m worred about the city police, those people are the ones we need to see around our neighborhood,” he said.

Election Day is Saturday, June 10.
