EPPD: Suspect in stolen debit card case in possession of marijuana, Xanax

A man accused of using a stolen debit card to make numerous purchases was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana and Xanax, police said.

Investigators met with Steve Jimenez, 29, in regards to a credit card abuse case filed June 29, 2017.

The police officers who met with Jimenez at his residence allegedly found him to be in possession of marijuana and Xanax.

Jimenez was taken into custody Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Police charged him with three outstanding warrants for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance (.6 grams of Xanax), and three counts of Credit Card Abuse.

Jimenez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on bonds totaling $16,591.
