Early morning crash leads to fatality in Las Cruces

An early morning crash on I-10 West led to a highway shut down for over four hours. The crash was reported just before 1:30 am New Mexico State Police responded to the call shutting down the highway in the process. A fatality was also reported as a result of the crash, however the victims gender and age have not been released. Motorist who need to travel along I-10 West are advised to take Las Alturas road.
