Casa Jurado closing after 45 years
Casa Jurado, a staple El Paso Mexican restaurant in the Upper Valley, is closing its doors Labor Day weekend. Some patrons rushed in to get one last meal before its closing.
Customer Gloria Ray says, “I heard it was closing and I’m very, very sad. I used to live down here in the Upper Valley. After church, my family would come here and have lunch… My favorite salsa in El Paso.”
Casa Jurado had another location on Cincinnati Street, that location is now a bar.
