Chihuahuas advance to PCL Championship Series

The El Paso Chihuahuas are another step closer to another PCL championship.

The Dogs took down the Reno Aces Friday night at Southwest University Park by a final of 7 to 6.

El Paso ended up sweeping the 5-game series (3-0).

Chihuahuas now await the winner of the series between the Memphis Redbirds and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.

This will be El Paso’s second straight appearance in the PCL Championship Series.

Last year, the Chihuahuas won the PCL Championship before losing to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders in the Triple-A championship game.
