Morning showers after dry spell create slippery roads around the borderland

Rain showers continue to moveed across the borderland Wednesday morning. Showers extend from Luna county, Sierra, Dona Ana, and Otero counties in New Mexico. Showers over El Paso county, are moved into Hudspeth county. The ABC-7 WeatherNet sites are reporting from just few hundredths of an inch of rain. This afternoon the storm system should move to the east with clearing skies. Today’s backdoor cold front, will push westward through the Borderland and cool temperatures down into the 60s this afternoon.
