TRAFFIC ALERT: I-10 Eastbound closed at North Mesa for 27 hours
TxDOT crews shut down a portion of the Interstate on Sunday for work on the GO-10 Project.
I-10 East at North Mesa was closed at 3 a.m. TxDOT officials said the closure is expected to last until 6 a.m. on Monday.
North Mesa is also closed in both directions under the I-10 overpass.
TxDOT recommends drivers take Doniphan Drive to Sunland Park, and then re-enter I-10 East.
The closure is so crews can pour bridge deck onto the new I-10 Eastbound overpass.
