Hidden Hearts scavenger hunt returns
El Paso’s Downtown Management District, or the DMD, is bringing back the Valentine season’s Hidden Hearts scavenger hunt starting Tuesday. The contest allows participants to win prizes to downtown restaurants just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The contest requires participants to find and take selfies with five “papel picado” hearts hidden on business storefronts throughout downtown. Clues to find the hearts point contestants to the five districts of downtown: El Centro District, Las Plazas Arts District, Office District, Government District and Union Plaza.
Clues, listed below, guide participants to the hearts. Once found, a selfie with the heart must be posted on Instagram, Facebook or sent to the DMD in a direct message. The DMD must be tagged (@DowntownElPaso) in a public post to be entered.
El Centro District Clue:
There is no Trick to finding this Heart

Las Plazas Arts District Clue:
Look inside where you’ll find Plumes of Smoke

Find this Heart at a Bar that is almost as good as drinking at your House
You will find it, as always, right next to the El Paso County Courthouse

Those who find all five hearts have a chance to win a $100 gift card to one of five downtown restaurants: Tabla, 501 Bistro, Coco Loko, The Park Tavern and Cafe Central.
