Elephants to predict Super Bowl LII winners

The El Paso Zoo is inviting everyone to watch elephants Savannah and Juno predict the winner of Super Bowl LII this weekend.

Each elephant will cast a vote by selecting one of the two helmet-shaped piñatas placed in their exhibit by their keepers.

According to the news release issued by the El Paso Zoo, this is the fifth year that the Asian elephants will be predicting the Super Bowl winner and they have chosen correctly six out of the last eight Super Bowls.

The zoo is holding the animal enrichment activity at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, at the elephant exhibit.
