Community Champions: Franklin wrestler shines on the mat & in the classroom

This week’s Community Champion is Franklin wrestler, James Mcclain Green III.

Green III is one of the best high school wrestlers in the city and this year he proved he’s the best in the state.

Green III is a 2-time state champion and this weekend he became a 3-time All-American after he placed 5th at a national competition in Virginia Beach.

What is also impressive is that Green III is still only a junior and several big time colleges are already offering him scholarships.

Green III has received offers from Arizona State, University of Maryland and Old Dominion.

And because Green III is also a stellar student, he even has an offer from Princeton University.
