KSAT: El Paso motorcyclist killed by alleged drunk driver

Scott Thomas Inman, 44, a motorcyclist from El Paso was struck and killed by an alleged drunk driver in San Antonio, ABC affiliate KSAT reports.

Police said 24-year-old Joshua Castro ran a red light at an intersection in West San Antonio around 3 a.m. Saturday when he struck Inman and a second motorcyclist.

KSAT reports Castro has been charged with intoxication manslaughter. Police told KSAT additional charges could be filed against Castro once the injuries suffered by the second motorcyclist are assessed.

Castro allegedly told police he had two beers, KSAT reports. He was released from jail at 9 p.m. Saturday after posting a $40,000 bond. KSAT’s cameras were rolling when Castro was released from jail. CLICK HERE to see its video.
