Khalid snags five Billboard Music nominations
The nominations for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards are out and an El Pasoan is on the list.
Khalid scored five nominations in the categories of Top New Artist, Top R & B Artist, Best Album, Best Song and Top R & B Male Artist.
At 19, the Americas High School graduate is receiving critical acclaim and earning fans across the globe for his debut album “American Teen.”
He was recently nominated for Grammy awards in the categories of Best New Artist, Best R&B Song, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Music Video, and Song of the Year. He performed at that award ceremony in January.
Kendrick Lamar and Ed Sheeran topped the list of Billboard nominations, which were announced Tuesday.
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will be handed out on May 20.
