Crime of the Week: Police looking for robbery suspect

Police are still looking for a man who robbed a Metro PCS store in central El Paso on the afternoon of April 13th. The knife wielding man demanded money from the store and threatened two employees.

The robbery occured at 1:15 PM at the Metro PCS store at 2920 N. Piedras. The man left with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a 5’5″-5’10” hispanic male wearing a black baseball cap, a plack hooded sweatshirt with a “Street Wise” log on the front, khaki colored pants, and Adidas sneakers.

Witnesses saw the man running eastbound through a nearby alley. If you have any information you are asked to call crime stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477(TIPS) or on-line at www.crimestoppersofelpaso.org. If your information leads to an arrest you could qualify for a cash reward
