EPPD looking for suspects accused of stealing pocket bike

El Paso Police say a group of men stole a pocket motorbike from a man who they followed from a gas station.

The victim drove a pocket motorbike on Saturday, April 7 to the Valero gas station on 7960 Gateway East when a group of men in a blue BMW began to yell at the victim, police say.

The victim drove away from the gas station and was allegedly followed by the BMW. According to police, he drove toward a nearby hotel and the car accelerated, causing the victim to lose control and fall off the motorbike.

Two suspects allegedly stood over the victim, while two others allegedly took the motorbike and put it in the car.

Witnesses say the suspects fled the scene on Gateway East.

Security cameras at the Valero captured images of one of the suspects and the BMW.

Police are still searching for the suspects and ask that anyone with information call Crimes Stopper of El Paso at 915-566-8477.
