Police pull over vehicle without license plate, find pot and meth inside car

Police officers who pulled over a man driving a vehicle without proper registration made two arrests after they allegedly found meth and marijuana inside the vehicle.

Fernando Lopez, 36, is charged with a vehicle registration violation and Possession of Marijuana Under Two Ounces, police said.

Moises Guerrero, 36, of Canutillo, Texas, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance. Police said Guerrero was in possession o 43 grams of Methamphetamine.

The men were pulled over Tuesday afternoon on the 8000 block of N. Mesa when police noticed Lopez driving a 2006 Saturn Vue without a license plate.

Lopez was jailed on a $216 bond. Guerrero was jailed on a $50,000 bond.
