Three people were shot on Saturday along the popular Juarez Avenue, closing the pedestrian bridge, according to El Diario.

The shooting happened in front of dozens of people. Police say an El Paso-bound driver shot a man and woman who were walking on Juarez Avenue. The shooter also hit a man selling water to people in their vehicles, waiting to cross into the United States.

All three victims were rushed to the hospital, according to the report. Police have not yet released a motive.
