Chihuahuas outfielder Forrestt Allday has been named the PCL Player of the Week after posting 18 hits in seven games last week.

Allday drove in eight runs, scored 12 himself, and also added four stolen bases to cap off his stellar week.

Allday helped the Chihuahuas win six of the team’s seven games a week ago including all five against the Salt Lake Bees. He also reached base in 23 of his 35 plate appearances.

In sweeping the Bees, the Chihuahuas took a five-game lead in their division into the Triple-A All-Star break. The team has run off 16 wins in their last 19 games to take control of the division.

The Chihuahuas will return to action on Thursday at home against Reno with the first pitched scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
