City to host public meeting to discuss Alameda Avenue improvements

As ABC-7 has reported, there are plans to improve Alameda Avenue, which goes from one side of town to the other.

The City of El Paso is holding a public meeting Tuesday at Ysleta High School at 6 p.m.

The Alameda Transit Corridor Plan aims to revamp Alameda Avenue and its surrounding neighborhoods by improving the way it looks, its quality and safety.

The city says people’s input during today’s meeting is important because this will change how the road will look in the next 20 years.
