El Paso County Sheriff’s Deputy helps family in need

It isn’t often when the news media gets the opportunity to report about the actions of law enforcement that don’t end in an arrest.

That’s why ABC-7 wanted to share this instance of a selfless action by an El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

According to a news release, Deputy Julian Ochoa came across the family asking for money to buy food in the parking lot while on duty Wednesday in Far East El Paso.

The sheriff’s office shared a picture and video of Deputy Ochoa providing a family of three with diapers, wipes and clothes for their child, as well as a gift card to purchase food.
