El Paso Forward Campaign celebrates the Sun City’s pride and progress

Many people who live in EL Paso are proud of the 9-1-5, and two local public relations groups want to show the world why.

The El Paso Forward Campaign launched this week, showcasing the best of what the Sun City has to offer.

Mithoff Burton Partners and the Raben Group started the campaign to celebrate El Paso pride and progress. The groups don’t want to be the only ones working to share the pride and are asking all El Pasoans to get involved.

So ABC-7 decided to go out to see what people love about the Sun City.

“Actually, this was my first [place] living in the US and I really loved it,” Sunhwa Kim said.

“I love everything about El Paso. [Originally], I’m from Lebanon, but I’m now [a] citizen and since I came to El Paso, I love it.”

Residents love the food, culture and people of the city. So many of them told ABC-7 they loved how welcoming the people are and how it feels like home, no matter if they were born here or not.

The campaign is inviting people all over the city to join and share their El Paso story using #EPFORWARD.
