Police respond to SWAT situation in Lower Valley
El Paso Police responded to a SWAT situation in the Lower Valley Wednesday afternoon on the 8600 block of North Loop.
32-year-old Oscar Martinez Jr. surrendered to police just after 1 p.m. He was wanted for burglary of habitation.
According to YISD spokesman, Chris Lechuga, Valley View Middle school was on a modified lockdown as a precaution.
