Lower Valley water main break affects 180 customers
A water main broke Tuesday morning in the Lower Valley, leaving hundreds of customers without power, according to El Paso Water.
Authorities closed Mellon Dr. as crews worked on the 500 block of Zaragoza Road south of North Loop Drive.
Officials say the broken water main is large so they cannot give an estimated time of completion.
El Paso Water said there will be water tanks available for houses and businesses.
