Police identify man killed in Central El Paso after being struck by multiple vehicles

El Paso police have identified the man who was struck and killed in a crash involving three vehicles Sunday night.

According to police, Jose Reza Moreno, 66, was attempting to cross Cotton street at an undesignated area without yielding to oncoming traffic.

A vehicle struck Moreno as he attempted to cross the street and two other vehicles hit him as he was on the ground. The first two vehicles continued traveling north on Cotton.

Only the driver of the third vehicle, 23-year-old Anthony Garcia, stopped.

Moreno died at the scene.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about this collision to contact STI at (915) 212-4080.
